Want to act on Climate Change, fast?

Join us to build a collaborative, sustainable, local business culture.

DATE: Thursday 13th February
TIME: 9.15am – 1pm (lunch included)
LOCATION: Grow, 98c Wallis Road, Hackney Wick, E9 5LN

Global Challenge // Local Solutions (GCLS) is an emerging collaborative concept helping local businesses to work together, act on climate change, and make a lasting positive impact through their business operations.

In this second event in the GCLS series, we continue the theme ‘Action on Waste’, because it is so relevant to every business and so prominent in the Climate Crisis.

**All welcome – attending the 1st event is not a pre-requisite**

In this practical half-day event & workshop, you will:

> Help to create an in-depth local picture of ‘what we waste’

> Be inspired by collaborators who are pioneering change

> Shape your ideas into actionable projects

This is an open space to bring ideas and challenges to the table and generate local solutions that work for everyone.

We will continue to develop compelling ideas from Octobers event, such as:

> A Hackney Wick-wide reusable cup scheme,

> Low-carbon/Low waste collaborative procurement, and

> Making HWFI a zero-waste community by 2030

We can also help unlock funding for any solutions that are ready to take it to the next level.

Come along and join local business leaders, aspiring entrepreneurs, policy-makers and waste management specialists for an action-focused morning.

**All welcome – attending the 1st event is not a pre-requisite**

Tickets are free, but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment

The event will close with a healthy vegetarian lunch.

Book your place.
